Sing a Song of Quilting
Sing a Song of Quilting is inspired by a well-known nursery rhyme. Sing along with us to the tune of Sing a Song of Sixpence.
Sing a song of quilting, as my needle flies,
Four and twenty fat quarters baked in a pie,
When the pie was opened, the king began to cry
What I WANT for supper is a blackbird pie!*
The king was in his recliner, counting out his dough**,
The queen was in the sewing room, stitching oh so slow,
The maid was the in the garden hanging row by rows,
Along flew a flock of geese and picked the best in show!
*Sorry sir, wrong queen. Make it yourself.
**Only chump change left after the queen’s morning round of Row by Row Quilt Shops!
