Battilizer is the ideal product for constructing quilt blocks with your embroidery machine. It incorporates a special stabilizer between two batting layers to compensate for the extra tug and pull of machine embroidery. You’ll save both time and money when piecing in the hoop because there is no need to back your batting with stabilizer.
Battilizer is 24” wide and is sold in our stores by the yard and in a 15-yard roll. Try some today. You’ll love having your batting and stabilizer all rolled up into one product!
We discovered Battilizer when we introduced HoopSisters Embroidablock Quilt Designs for our April and May Embroidery Club project. What a difference the Battilizer made!
If you want hand-on experience with Battilizer using the Mariner’s compass block from HoopSisters, click here for upcoming Plano Embroidery Club dates. The Tuesday morning class on May 8 is full; Tuesday afternoon, May 8, and Saturday afternoon, May 12, both have space available. Call the Plano store at 972-578-9227 to enroll.
Note: Battilizer is 70% cotton, 30% polyester and is slightly thinner than Quilter Dream Blend. It has a soft hand and results in a supple quilt.
Battilizer is perfect for the upcoming Mariner’s Compass Embroidery Club.
